{"id":1502,"date":"2013-03-15T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-15T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=1502"},"modified":"2013-03-12T13:56:59","modified_gmt":"2013-03-12T17:56:59","slug":"on-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2013\/03\/15\/on-track\/","title":{"rendered":"On Track"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the past two weeks, I have managed to stick to my training schedule 100%!\u00a0 I&#8217;ve even gone over goal on a couple of the workouts, most notably the swims (because it seems ridiculous to drive 15 minutes to the pool, get in the pool, swim for 10 minutes, then drive home).<\/p>\n<p>And you know what?<\/p>\n<p>I am TIRED.<\/p>\n<p>And also sore.\u00a0 Every day, something different hurts.<\/p>\n<p>I think I kind of love it though.\u00a0 Well, I love the feeling of accomplishment. And I love knowing that if I just keep sticking to it, I will do well at my upcoming races.<\/p>\n<p>The next goal is to get the bike out the door.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve just been riding in the trainer.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll probably keep doing that for my Wednesday morning bike rides, just because it&#8217;s so dark at that hour (and I know myself &#8211; if I wait til the evening, I won&#8217;t do it), but my weekend rides are going outside either this weekend or next.\u00a0 That&#8217;s going to be telling.\u00a0 Right now, I&#8217;ve just been riding by time and effort.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t get me wrong, I&#8217;m certainly pushing it, but I have no idea how that&#8217;s going to translate into mileage outside.<\/p>\n<p>But only time will tell.\u00a0 I really have no idea what sort of time goals to put on my triathlons &#8211; just finishing strong, I suppose.\u00a0 And only solid training will get me there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the past two weeks, I have managed to stick to my training schedule 100%!\u00a0 I&#8217;ve even gone over goal on a couple of the workouts, most notably the swims (because it seems ridiculous to drive 15 minutes to the pool, get in the pool, swim for 10 minutes, then drive home).
