{"id":3173,"date":"2014-12-18T10:23:05","date_gmt":"2014-12-18T15:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=3173"},"modified":"2014-12-18T10:23:05","modified_gmt":"2014-12-18T15:23:05","slug":"slogging-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2014\/12\/18\/slogging-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Slogging Through the Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, I hit the treadmill for a seven mile run.\u00a0 I&#8217;m at the point where it doesn&#8217;t even bother me to spend that much time on the treadmill.\u00a0 It helps that I have a bunch of good tv saved up on the DVR, plus I have Netflix available, so I have something to keep my brain occupied.\u00a0 It also helps that I feel like a slug lately and need to tone up quite a bit before triathlon season starts.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe I should just hang that sexy spandex kit on the fridge to remind me to watch what I eat and to be sure that I hit my training.\u00a0 Next week is definitely going to be the most difficult, what with the holiday itself and with being at my parents&#8217; house.\u00a0 Somehow, I have to find a 12 mile run.\u00a0 I think that requires that I circle the town twice.\u00a0 I will probably run to one of the local trails and just circle it a few times until I get in my miles.\u00a0 Should be entertaining.\u00a0 The other joy is that it&#8217;s a town where everyone knows everyone, so I&#8217;ll probably end up stopped more than once.\u00a0 Plus people will know who I am.\u00a0 I think I prefer anonymous running, especially when I&#8217;m out just pounding out the miles.<\/p>\n<p>I really want to show some significant improvement in my racing this season.\u00a0 I think my running is definitely improving, thanks to working with a coach and following a plan.\u00a0 I just need to keep up with that through triathlon season.<\/p>\n<p>And hey, maybe 2015 is the year that I finally lose this weight I&#8217;ve packed on.\u00a0 Ugh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, I hit the treadmill for a seven mile run.\u00a0 I&#8217;m at the point where it doesn&#8217;t even bother me to spend that much time on the treadmill.\u00a0 It helps that I have a bunch of good tv saved up on the DVR, plus I have Netflix available, so I have something to keep [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":false,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[160,41],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.7 -
