{"id":3581,"date":"2015-05-13T09:00:48","date_gmt":"2015-05-13T13:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=3581"},"modified":"2015-05-13T08:46:50","modified_gmt":"2015-05-13T12:46:50","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/13\/wednesday-workout-recap-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week was a week of highs and lows in terms of workouts.\u00a0 It was taper week, which I always consider a win.\u00a0 My body took taper to a new level though.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Swim.\u00a0 I worked on breathing patterns and form issues that were pointed out to me during the weekend&#8217;s open water swim practice.\u00a0 It&#8217;s little stuff, but it could make a big difference.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Easy 3 mile run in 38 minutes.\u00a0 This felt pretty good and had me hopeful for a quality run on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; Went out to dinner, then came home for an easy 45 minute bike ride.\u00a0 Nothing special.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Either food poisoning or a mild stomach virus.\u00a0 Either way, not fun.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Healthy-ish, but opted to not do much today, just in case.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; Spun a few minutes on the bike and walked a few minutes on the treadmill, just to keep things loose.\u00a0 This wasn&#8217;t easy.\u00a0 Then I laid in a hammock and hydrated.\u00a0 That&#8217;s something I&#8217;m quite good at.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/11\/race-report-kinetic-sprint-triathlon\/\">Kinetic Sprint Tri<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This week is also an easy week, which is nice, since I have a choir concert Sunday, which means three late nights of rehearsal this week.\u00a0 Hoping to get in all the workouts even with the time limitations.\u00a0 Now that Kinetic is over, I need to set my sights on Challenge Williamsburg and nail that Oly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week was a week of highs and lows in terms of workouts.\u00a0 It was taper week, which I always consider a win.\u00a0 My body took taper to a new level though.
