{"id":4383,"date":"2016-04-13T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-04-13T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=4383"},"modified":"2016-04-12T09:55:15","modified_gmt":"2016-04-12T13:55:15","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-54","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2016\/04\/13\/wednesday-workout-recap-54\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week was rough!\u00a0 So much so that I was too lazy on Monday night to prep my Tuesday post.\u00a0 I just needed to sit on the couch and not do things.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Rest Day.\u00a0 I&#8217;m really really good at these.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Trainer workout.\u00a0 I thought I was gonna die.\u00a0 These things are killer.\u00a0 But I&#8217;m seeing progress.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; My uncle was in town and offered to take me to dinner.\u00a0 Free dinner? Count me in!\u00a0 So no workout.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Team Fight swim practice.\u00a0 This was awesome.\u00a0 Lots of drills and long swims, which was exactly what I needed.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Made up for Wednesday&#8217;s missed workout.\u00a0 Did an hour trainer workout, then ran 4 miles.\u00a0 My legs were not pleased, but it was a fast run.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; My legs remained unpleased.\u00a0 I had a 6 mile run on the schedule, but by the end of 3, my legs had quit.\u00a0 Done, not running anymore.\u00a0 But I was determined to get through the workout, so I powerwalked the rest.\u00a0 6 miles is better than 3.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; Outdoor ride got cancelled again because the weather was ridiculous.\u00a0 So I rode 90 minutes on the trainer.\u00a0 Nothing structured, so I just set a speed and pushed for it.\u00a0 Felt pretty good.\u00a0 Finished up with some weightlifting which I do not do enough of.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week was rough!\u00a0 So much so that I was too lazy on Monday night to prep my Tuesday post.\u00a0 I just needed to sit on the couch and not do things.
