{"id":442,"date":"2012-07-02T08:04:08","date_gmt":"2012-07-02T12:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=442"},"modified":"2012-07-02T08:32:29","modified_gmt":"2012-07-02T12:32:29","slug":"still-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/02\/still-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Still here."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So&#8230; big storms here on Friday night.\u00a0 Lots of people still without power.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"2012-07-01_16-23-56_79.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/wpid-2012-07-01_16-23-56_79.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"400\" height=\"710\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I do have power, as mine only went out for about 10 minutes.\u00a0 Very lucky.\u00a0 Given the big trees in my yard, I&#8217;m lucky nothing fell.\u00a0 Or snapped off.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"2012-07-01_09-26-39_112.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/wpid-2012-07-01_09-26-39_112.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"400\" height=\"226\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">(It&#8217;s hard to tell, but that is a tree with its top completely sheared off.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The heat and the weather have kind of thwarted my running as of late.\u00a0 I&#8217;m also babying a knee twinge, for which I&#8217;m seeing a doctor on Friday.\u00a0 Rest has definitely helped a lot, so I&#8217;m thinking it&#8217;s probably nothing, and I&#8217;m hoping to get out for a quality run on Wednesday.\u00a0 Might just be a treadmill run though.\u00a0 90 degree heat just isn&#8217;t working for me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I feel like a bit of a slacker.\u00a0 Didn&#8217;t make my 50 mile goal for the month.\u00a0 Only ran about 35 miles.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still ahead of the game for my yearly goal, but I need to step up my game if I want to not only hit that goal, but be properly trained.\u00a0 I&#8217;m officially starting marathon training in October, but the first long run is 9 miles, so I have to be sure to get my body ready to go.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But first, storm cleanup.\u00a0 Everything else will come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So&#8230; big storms here on Friday night.\u00a0 Lots of people still without power.
