{"id":4638,"date":"2016-08-31T10:00:05","date_gmt":"2016-08-31T14:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=4638"},"modified":"2016-08-31T09:48:48","modified_gmt":"2016-08-31T13:48:48","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-72","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/31\/wednesday-workout-recap-72\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s getting real. \u00a0It&#8217;s definitely getting real.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Trainer hill workout followed by a 3 mile run.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Long swim sets. \u00a0Thankfully, the 50m pool is open for two weeks, which makes long swim sets seem so much easier. \u00a0It&#8217;s going to be tough when I&#8217;m back to the 25m pool.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; 4 hour trainer ride. \u00a0Yes. \u00a04 hours. \u00a0Since I wouldn&#8217;t be able to do a long ride over the weekend due to travel and not having my bike, I had to get it in mid-week. \u00a0This was rough, especially since I was doing it after work, so it got late. \u00a0I also discovered that while I can sleep well after a 2 hour evening workout, 4 hours is too much and I didn&#8217;t get enough sleep Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Missed my swim workout. \u00a0I was completely burnt out from the lack of sleep and since I had to be up early for a flight the next morning, I opted for bed rather than the swim practice that wouldn&#8217;t get me home til after 9.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; 6 mile treadmill run. \u00a0I had help.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4640\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4640\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/IMG_2880-e1472651175493.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4640 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/IMG_2880-e1472651175493-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2880\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/IMG_2880-e1472651175493-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/IMG_2880-e1472651175493-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4640\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Taco kept walking across the incline buttons. This is not a hill workout, Baby Taco!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; Rest<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; 12 mile run through my hometown. \u00a0It&#8217;s not really big enough for a 12 mile run, but they&#8217;ve got an awesome new trail that was great to run through, and it passes by the hospital, which is good for water, bathroom breaks, and emergencies, I suppose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s getting real. \u00a0It&#8217;s definitely getting real.
