{"id":4705,"date":"2016-10-05T09:00:14","date_gmt":"2016-10-05T13:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=4705"},"modified":"2016-10-05T08:50:59","modified_gmt":"2016-10-05T12:50:59","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-76","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2016\/10\/05\/wednesday-workout-recap-76\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yay! \u00a0My race is done, so for the rest of the year, I can sit on the couch!<\/p>\n<p>Oh wait, that&#8217;s not how this works. \u00a0That&#8217;s not how any of this works. \u00a0This definitely was a recovery week though.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Travel day. \u00a0Driving, driving, back to my house and my kitties, who were very glad to see me. \u00a0However, Sunday, a few hours after the race, I did have to ride my bike the mile back from transition, so I&#8217;ll count that as part of the recovery week.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Went and got a massage and it was glorious. \u00a0This counts as training.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; I was supposed to get back to training, but instead I went to see Come From Away at Ford&#8217;s Theater and it was so amazing and I want to see it again. \u00a0I walked there and back, so we&#8217;ll count that as my 30 minute walk requirement.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; All right, back to it. \u00a030 minute bike. \u00a0Let&#8217;s go. \u00a0Oh wait, bike is broken, off to the bike shop.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4706\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4706\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3024.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4706\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3024-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"bike pedal with cleat attached\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3024-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3024-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3024-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_3024-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4706\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">I could have fixed this myself but the threads were stripped on the crank arm and I couldn&#8217;t make things work. The bike shop was so lovely. Now to prevent this from happening again.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Okay, now we&#8217;re on to things. \u00a020 minute run. \u00a0Go. \u00a0And my quads reminded me that I had raced the weekend before.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; 45 minute bike ride.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; 30 minute run. \u00a0Yeah, maybe the Army Ten Miler isn&#8217;t going to feel so great after all. \u00a0But I&#8217;ll make it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yay! \u00a0My race is done, so for the rest of the year, I can sit on the couch!
