{"id":4745,"date":"2016-10-26T09:00:51","date_gmt":"2016-10-26T13:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=4745"},"modified":"2016-10-26T08:05:30","modified_gmt":"2016-10-26T12:05:30","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-78","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2016\/10\/26\/wednesday-workout-recap-78\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_4746\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4746\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/halloween_1477482936.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4746\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/halloween_1477482936-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/halloween_1477482936-200x300.jpg 200w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/halloween_1477482936.jpg 426w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4746\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pixabay.com\/users\/PublicDomainPictures\/\">PublicDomainPictures<\/a> \/ Pixabay<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I&#8217;ve noticed a lot of people track their annual mileage. \u00a0I used to track my run mileage, but I&#8217;ve definitely fallen off the wagon on that one. \u00a0I think for 2017, I&#8217;m going to use these recaps to add up my swim\/bike\/run mileage and see what I&#8217;m actually doing throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>Last week was definitely not a perfect week. \u00a0The downside to not pushing towards a big race is that I&#8217;m less motivated to get in my workouts. \u00a0But I did pretty well, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>I also got some work done on my blog over the weekend. \u00a0Finally got my <a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/race-reports\/\">Race Reports<\/a> page updated as well as my sidebar. \u00a0It made me realize that I&#8217;ve done a LOT of races. \u00a0And I think this is the first time that I&#8217;ve gotten this late in the year without a real plan for the next year. \u00a0Best work on that soon.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Rest Day. \u00a0I&#8217;m also back to choir rehearsals. \u00a0These are a little weird, since our director passed away unexpectedly this summer, so we&#8217;re working with guest conductors. \u00a0I definitely enjoy being there, but Monday rehearsals from 7:30-10 are tough.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Scheduled swim, but since I knew Wednesday&#8217;s workout was going to be a miss, I opted to get in a trainer ride and some lifting. \u00a0It also meant I got to bed early.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; A good friend was in town, so we met for dinner. \u00a0No workout.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Lifting. Lots of lifting. \u00a0I&#8217;m so glad to be back to regular strength work. \u00a0I never want to do it, but then I realize just how incredible it makes me feel.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Trainer ride and strength work.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; Oh, the joys of flexibility in my schedule. \u00a0I flipflopped the weekend&#8217;s workouts due to the weather. \u00a0So this became a 1:45 trainer ride.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; Gorgeous 8 mile run. \u00a0We&#8217;re having perfect running weather right now. \u00a0I know it&#8217;s not going to last, but I&#8217;m going to enjoy every single minute of it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve noticed a lot of people track their annual mileage. \u00a0I used to track my run mileage, but I&#8217;ve definitely fallen off the wagon on that one. \u00a0I think for 2017, I&#8217;m going to use these recaps to add up my swim\/bike\/run mileage and see what I&#8217;m actually doing throughout the year.
