{"id":5085,"date":"2017-05-31T09:00:42","date_gmt":"2017-05-31T13:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=5085"},"modified":"2017-05-31T08:35:15","modified_gmt":"2017-05-31T12:35:15","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-94","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/31\/wednesday-workout-recap-94\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_4859\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4859\" style=\"width: 139px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4859\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/checklist_1484227615.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"139\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4859\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pixabay.com\/users\/OpenClipart-Vectors\/\">OpenClipart-Vectors<\/a> \/ Pixabay<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hey look, a week where I actually got stuff done! \u00a0One thing I&#8217;m realizing as I do these recaps is that I need to get more strength work built into my plan.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Sweet, sweet rest day.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Team Fight swim. \u00a0Lots of long distance in preparation for the weekend&#8217;s crazy swim.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; 60 minutes on the trainer. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know how people train without a mat or towel under their trainers because this sweating is ridiculous.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Easy 5 mile run.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Easy 60 minutes on the trainer. \u00a0With the holiday Monday, I was opting to skip my rest day and actually get in an extra day of biking over the long weekend, so I took this one easy.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; Swim Fest<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; My first Princeton Sports ride of the year. \u00a0We did the old Iron Girl course, and that&#8217;s 16.5 miles of no joking. \u00a0I really like doing these group rides, and because I was putting in so much distance last year, I didn&#8217;t do a ton of them. \u00a0My plan this year is to try to do the group rides to not only get in the added push of riding in a group and trying to keep up, but also to help support the newbies that will start to show up. \u00a0I&#8217;ll just do the ride with the group, then go back out for whatever extra mileage I need. \u00a0Or maybe I&#8217;ll try to get mileage before the ride. \u00a0Whatever works for that weekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey look, a week where I actually got stuff done! \u00a0One thing I&#8217;m realizing as I do these recaps is that I need to get more strength work built into my plan.
