{"id":5937,"date":"2017-12-20T09:00:55","date_gmt":"2017-12-20T14:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=5937"},"modified":"2017-12-20T07:55:52","modified_gmt":"2017-12-20T12:55:52","slug":"whats-bag-purse-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2017\/12\/20\/whats-bag-purse-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s In My Bag: Purse Edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Various magazines often post lists of what celebrities carry in their purses.\u00a0 It made me wonder how my purse stacks up.\u00a0 Plus it was well past time to clean it out, so I thought I would document the process.\u00a0 I pretty regularly switch between purses, and try to carry a smallish bag, but haven&#8217;t switched out from my big purse after my trip to Florida at the end of November.\u00a0 That means it&#8217;s starting to fill up with ridiculous things.\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5930\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0564-256x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0564-256x300.jpg 256w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0564.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 256px) 100vw, 256px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Starting out, it&#8217;s not looking too crazy.\u00a0 From top to bottom:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Portable phone charger<\/li>\n<li>iPhone earbuds<\/li>\n<li>Giant keychain with way too many things for the small number of keys<\/li>\n<li>Pen case (for the fancy fountain pens I carry) plus two &#8220;regular&#8221; pens.\u00a0 Note that the fancy pens aren&#8217;t currently in the case and instead are strewn about my office and house<\/li>\n<li>Two snacks.\u00a0 Because everyone needs snacks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5928\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0566-262x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"262\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0566-262x300.jpg 262w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0566.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 262px) 100vw, 262px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Still pretty normal purse contents.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunglasses case (with sunglasses inside)<\/li>\n<li>Reusable bag<\/li>\n<li>Altoids and weird licorice candies<\/li>\n<li>Cough drops, which are weird, only because I&#8217;m not sure when I last had a cough.<\/li>\n<li>Business card case<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5931\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0565-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0565-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0565-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0565-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0565-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This one&#8217;s a bit misleading because I didn&#8217;t open up the pouch, which contains all sorts of ridiculousness.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pouch with lipstick, mirror, hair bands, spare contacts, medications, and other random tiny things<\/li>\n<li>Wallet<\/li>\n<li>Bottle of hotel lotion from a trip I took in May<\/li>\n<li>Mickey Tsum Tsum lip balm that I bought on a whim (which is now stacked on my desk)<\/li>\n<li>More chapstick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5929\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0567-262x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"262\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0567-262x300.jpg 262w, http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/img_0567.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 262px) 100vw, 262px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And now we get into the random stuff<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passion Planner &#8211; I LOVE this thing<\/li>\n<li>Holiday CD from a coworker<\/li>\n<li>Massage ball<\/li>\n<li>Pile of garbage<\/li>\n<li>Gum, plus loose gum that fell out of the container<\/li>\n<li>An Action Wipe&#8230; in case I sweat and need to wipe down?
