{"id":942,"date":"2012-11-14T08:00:05","date_gmt":"2012-11-14T13:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=942"},"modified":"2012-11-13T08:46:09","modified_gmt":"2012-11-13T13:46:09","slug":"16-miles-of-beauty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2012\/11\/14\/16-miles-of-beauty\/","title":{"rendered":"16 Miles of Beauty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am very lucky.\u00a0 I live right by a lovely creek with a long path running alongside it.\u00a0 I can go out my door, do my warmup walk, and there I am at the path.\u00a0 I have yet to run the entire path, so every time I go out, I see something new.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_09-37-13_271.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"2012-11-11_09-37-13_271.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_09-37-13_271.jpg\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And now that it&#8217;s fall, the scenery is incredible.\u00a0 These camera phone shots do a poor job of showing you just how beautiful it is.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_09-38-14_415.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"2012-11-11_09-38-14_415.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_09-38-14_415.jpg\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Clearly, I&#8217;m not the only one out running.\u00a0 I love the random inspiration along the way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_10-26-11_466.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"2012-11-11_10-26-11_466.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_10-26-11_466.jpg\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This part of the run was new to me.\u00a0 I hit a new distance this weekend (16 miles) and took a part of the trail that I hadn&#8217;t run before.\u00a0 It was very different from the heavily wooded parts of the trail, but I kind of liked the sparseness of this.\u00a0 I could envision a movie being filmed there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_13-03-30_248.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"2012-11-11_13-03-30_248.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wpid-2012-11-11_13-03-30_248.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"400\" height=\"710\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When I put the contract on my house, I hadn&#8217;t been paying attention to possible running routes, and was delighted to discover this great path practically right outside my front door.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am very lucky.\u00a0 I live right by a lovely creek with a long path running alongside it.\u00a0 I can go out my door, do my warmup walk, and there I am at the path.\u00a0 I have yet to run the entire path, so every time I go out, I see something new.
