Becca<\/a> recently nominated me for a Liebster Award, and then I got a nomination from Everyday Girl<\/a> too!!\u00a0 Thanks, ladies!!<\/p>\n

The Liebster Award is one that is passed on from blogger to blogger and is meant for smaller blogs. There are no judges, no scoring, you just answer the questions and nominate some of you favorite small bloggers to participate! The Liebster Award is also a method to also discover new smaller blogs to follow.<\/p>\n

I did some research to see where the award originated, and it seems it’s been around since 2010, but I can’t find the original post.\u00a0 Either way, it’s a great way to find new small bloggers (the rule is under 200 followers, but how in the world are you supposed to figure that one out)?<\/p>\n

The 11 questions Becca wants me to answer<\/p>\n

  1. Are you a morning person or a night person?\u00a0 I used to say night, but since I’ve transitioned my schedule to allow for morning workouts, I’m more of a morning person.\u00a0 I hate getting up, but love getting stuff done early in the day.\u00a0 It’s nice to have everything accomplished by early afternoon.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. If you could make any type of burrito, what would you put on it? Cheese.\u00a0 And it would be filled with cheese too.\u00a0 With a side of cheese.<\/span>

  3. If you could have any job what would it be? You know, that’s a good question.\u00a0 My dream job has always been to do something I love while making a difference and also making enough money to live comfortably.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. What is your dream vacation? When’s the last time I vacationed without a race?\u00a0 Maybe something without a race… except that I really love races.\u00a0 Basically, I think I would love some sort of relaxing retreat, spa style.<\/span>

  5. What is your biggest pet peeve? \u00a0People who always have to one up you. \u00a0So annoying!<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Dog person or cat person? \u00a0Both? \u00a0I have cats, but that’s only because I can’t afford a dog.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  7. What is the one dessert that you will always indulge in if you have the opportunity to eat it? \u00a0Real vanilla ice cream.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  8. What is the best book that you have read recently? \u00a0Oooh, a perfect time to promote a friend! \u00a0My friend Caela just got her first YA novel published. \u00a0Me, Him, Them, and It<\/a>. \u00a0It’s not my usual genre, but within a few chapters, \u00a0I was sucked in.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  9. What was your favorite childhood toy? \u00a0I had a Cabbage Patch Doll named Kit Cora. I wonder what happened to her.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Desktop computer or laptop? \u00a0Laptop. \u00a0I don’t do well being tied down.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  11. What is your favorite color? \u00a0Either blue or emerald green.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
