When the opportunity arose to review Vitacost’s Glonaturals Coconut Collection, I jumped at the chance.\u00a0 I love body products.\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0 It’s a slight addiction.\u00a0 You should see my bathroom cabinet.\u00a0 Actually, no you shouldn’t.\u00a0 It’s a little embarrassing.\u00a0 I also love coconut oil as a moisturizer, so I was excited to try out these products.<\/p>\n

I received five products.\u00a0 From left to right in the photo above:\u00a0 face cream, face & body cleanser, hair serum, body lotion, and eye cream.\u00a0 The first thing I noticed was the great packaging for the two larger bottles.\u00a0 I love pump bottles for lotion.\u00a0 I was a little surprised to see it for the face and body cleanser, since that bottle was going in my shower, but I loved the idea of being able to keep it by the sink and also use it as a hand wash if I wanted to.<\/p>\n

The first thing I always do when I get a new hair product is check the ingredients.\u00a0 I’m very picky about what goes in my hair. Like a lot of curly girls, I avoid silicones and other -cones, as they just weigh down my curls.\u00a0 Unfortunately, this product includes those ingredients, so I have set this aside to give to a friend who does love the products in her hair.\u00a0 They’re neither good nor bad – just something that doesn’t work with my type of hair.<\/p>\n

Because I have a great facial routine, I opted to use the face cream on my neck and chest.\u00a0 Those areas often get avoided when it comes to moisturizer, and I want to do everything I can to prevent having an old lady neck until I am actually an old lady.\u00a0 I really liked the texture of the cream.\u00a0 It felt very moisturizing, though I preferred to use it at night because it was a bit thick and greasy.<\/p>\n

I am TERRIBLE about using eye cream, so this trial forced me to use it regularly.\u00a0 Awesome texture and it didn’t mess with my makeup.\u00a0 I consider it a win.<\/p>\n

The body wash is lovely, thought not as coconutty as I would like it to be.\u00a0 The scent actually reminded me of coconut yogurt.\u00a0 But it cleans well and doesn’t leave me feeling dry and itchy.\u00a0 The fragrance also isn’t overpowering post-shower so it doesn’t mess with my perfume.\u00a0 Definitely a win.<\/p>\n

The real gem in this kit is the body lotion.\u00a0 It is amazing.\u00a0 It soaks right in and doesn’t leave any sort of greasy feeling.\u00a0 It makes for a perfect light lotion and I love using it on my hands.\u00a0 I don’t leave greasy fingerprints on anything. The fragrance is light and definitely not overpowering.\u00a0 While I’m not sure about the other products, this is one I will likely buy again.\u00a0 The bottle is perfect for at work because I don’t have to worry about getting lotion all over my keyboard.<\/p>\n
