{"id":2270,"date":"2013-09-13T08:41:46","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T12:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=2270"},"modified":"2013-09-13T08:41:46","modified_gmt":"2013-09-13T12:41:46","slug":"victory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2013\/09\/13\/victory\/","title":{"rendered":"VICTORY!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Guys.<\/p>\n<p>I ran 3 whole miles last night.<\/p>\n<p>They weren&#8217;t fast, and they weren&#8217;t particularly pretty. \u00a0But I ran all three miles WITHOUT PAIN!<\/p>\n<p>I am very excited about this. \u00a0Can you tell?<\/p>\n<p>I stopped half a mile in, at 1 mile, and at 2 miles to stretch, just to be sure. \u00a0And my leg was tight. \u00a0It&#8217;s still a bit tight this morning. \u00a0But it&#8217;s not sore. \u00a0I&#8217;m going to keep up the stretching and the massage and just hope for the best.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure what I&#8217;m going to run on Sunday. \u00a0I think the plan originally called for something like six miles. \u00a0Might try for five and see how that feels. \u00a0All treadmill miles, just in case. \u00a0That way I can stop immediately if I feel any pain and don&#8217;t have to worry about how the heck I&#8217;m going to get back home.<\/p>\n<p>In other exciting news, tomorrow is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.betsytransatlantically.com\" target=\"_blank\">Betsy&#8217;s <\/a>first half marathon! \u00a0Everyone wish her luck. \u00a0I know she&#8217;s gonna be amazing. \u00a0I can&#8217;t wait to cheer her on through the finish.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guys.
