{"id":26,"date":"2008-06-27T10:02:20","date_gmt":"2008-06-27T14:02:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=26"},"modified":"2008-06-27T10:02:20","modified_gmt":"2008-06-27T14:02:20","slug":"plague","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2008\/06\/27\/plague\/","title":{"rendered":"Plague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think I have the plague.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, it&#8217;s not really the plague.\u00a0 The plague would be worse.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But this is not fun.\u00a0 I have been sick for three straight weeks with head and chest congestion, a super sweet cough, and general fatigue.<\/p>\n<p>(Yes, the men have been flocking to me lately, obviously.)<\/p>\n<p>Before you ask, I&#8217;ve been to the doctor not once but twice.\u00a0 The first time, I was given an armload of drugs and sent on my way.\u00a0 I have improved muchly since then.\u00a0 The second doctor told me that I&#8217;m on my way to recovery and that my vitals look good, but I can expect the symptoms to last another 8-10 days.<\/p>\n<p>That will make it an entire month of plague.\u00a0 Ugh.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve watched a lot of movies in this month, since I have no energy to do anything else.\u00a0 I also discovered the wonder of\u00a0Comcast&#8217;s\u00a0On Demand.\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t been running whatsoever and am pretty sure I&#8217;m going to have to pick up a beginner&#8217;s training plan for all the strength and stamina that I&#8217;ve lost.\u00a0 I tried to workout last night and managed about 10 minutes before I thought I might collapse.<\/p>\n<p>Yep.\u00a0 I&#8217;m hot.\u00a0 Who wants to hang out and get germy?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I think I have the plague.
