{"id":2788,"date":"2014-05-13T10:27:41","date_gmt":"2014-05-13T14:27:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=2788"},"modified":"2014-05-13T10:27:41","modified_gmt":"2014-05-13T14:27:41","slug":"busy-few-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/13\/busy-few-weeks\/","title":{"rendered":"Busy Few Weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I feel like my training plan is mocking me right now.<\/p>\n<p>The next 10 days or so are going to be a bear.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s my schedule:<\/p>\n<p>Monday (yesterday):\u00a0 Work 7:30-6, choir 7-10ish, home by 10:45<br \/>\nTuesday: Work 7:30-5, home for maybe some stretching or strength work, sleep early<br \/>\nWednesday: See Monday<br \/>\nThursday: Work 7:30-4:15, chiropractor appt, maybe a workout, but most likely collapsing<br \/>\nFriday: Work 7:30-4\u00a0 (I hope), choir 7-10ish<br \/>\nSaturday: Clean, laundry, pack, maybe bike, sleep<br \/>\nSunday: choir concert, then 3 hour drive for work.<br \/>\nMon-Wed: 12+ hour days of meetings<\/p>\n<p>Note the distinct lack of workouts?\u00a0\u00a0 Not awesome.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not even going to bring workout gear on my business trip because having seen the schedule, it&#8217;s not going to happen.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to need all the sleep I can get.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to focus more on making sure I eat right and get the rest I need.<\/p>\n<p>Then I will hit the ground running when I get back.\u00a0 Only a few weeks til race day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I feel like my training plan is mocking me right now.
