{"id":2805,"date":"2014-05-30T09:00:12","date_gmt":"2014-05-30T13:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=2805"},"modified":"2014-05-30T08:09:26","modified_gmt":"2014-05-30T12:09:26","slug":"making-a-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/30\/making-a-change\/","title":{"rendered":"Making a change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been really struggling with motivation as of late.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going through the motions of training, but I&#8217;m just not feeling it.\u00a0 I think that once I get through my first triathlon of the season, that will change.\u00a0 Once I remember how awesome that feels, I&#8217;ll be excited to get moving again.<\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;m also looking into working with a coach. Not in person, just remotely.\u00a0 But I could use someone to tell me what to do and berate me when I don&#8217;t do it and encourage me when I&#8217;m feeling low.\u00a0 I think that part of my problem right now is that I don&#8217;t have confidence in my training plan.\u00a0 Sure, it&#8217;s a good plan, but I&#8217;m not sure it&#8217;s right for me.\u00a0 Someone who will create a fluid training plan will be a definite help.\u00a0 Plus if I&#8217;m paying for it, I&#8217;m more likely to stick to it, right?<\/p>\n<p>In other news, tomorrow is my 1500m Open Water Swim.\u00a0 I&#8217;m nervous and excited.\u00a0 It&#8217;s 2 750m loops, which will be a good way to break it up in my mind.\u00a0 I know I can cover the distance with no trouble.\u00a0 The goal is just to stay out of my head.\u00a0 I can do it.\u00a0 Just keep swimming.\u00a0 Just keep swimming.\u00a0 Maybe I should watch Finding Nemo tonight as motivation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been really struggling with motivation as of late.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going through the motions of training, but I&#8217;m just not feeling it.\u00a0 I think that once I get through my first triathlon of the season, that will change.\u00a0 Once I remember how awesome that feels, I&#8217;ll be excited to get moving again.
