{"id":2817,"date":"2014-06-04T09:00:15","date_gmt":"2014-06-04T13:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=2817"},"modified":"2014-06-04T07:27:54","modified_gmt":"2014-06-04T11:27:54","slug":"wednesday-workout-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2014\/06\/04\/wednesday-workout-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For accountability, I&#8217;m going to try to review my weekly workouts here on my blog. \u00a0But because I can&#8217;t do anything on time, I&#8217;m going to use Wednesday to review the previous week&#8217;s workouts.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s my blog. \u00a0I can do what I want.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Workouts for May 26-June 1<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Rest Day<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Missed Workout<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; Brick: 45 minute trainer ride, 1 mile run<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Missed workout (intentional)<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Rest day<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; Fort Ritchie Swimfest &#8211; 1500m swim race<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; 7 mile run<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230; not the worst week, but not the best either. \u00a0I&#8217;ve been letting life get in the way and I&#8217;m missing too many workouts as of late. \u00a0I really need to fix that. \u00a0I intentionally skipped Thursday&#8217;s workout, as I had a swim practice scheduled and didn&#8217;t want to risk still being worn out for Saturday&#8217;s swim race. \u00a0But I should have done something on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>One thing I need to learn that is if I&#8217;m exhausted and just not feeling a workout, I should at least get on the treadmill and walk for a mile or so. \u00a0Anything to stay active.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m talking with a potential coach tonight, so I&#8217;m looking forward to getting a new plan in place to prep for the races coming later this year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For accountability, I&#8217;m going to try to review my weekly workouts here on my blog. \u00a0But because I can&#8217;t do anything on time, I&#8217;m going to use Wednesday to review the previous week&#8217;s workouts.
