{"id":2827,"date":"2014-06-11T09:00:59","date_gmt":"2014-06-11T13:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=2827"},"modified":"2014-06-11T08:00:46","modified_gmt":"2014-06-11T12:00:46","slug":"wednesday-workout-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2014\/06\/11\/wednesday-workout-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I liked last week&#8217;s workout review so much I&#8217;m going to do it again.<\/p>\n<p>Be glad I don&#8217;t do What I Ate Wednesday.\u00a0 Though this week, it would involve a lot of M&amp;Ms.<\/p>\n<p>So, for the week of June 2:<\/p>\n<p>Monday: Rest Day &#8211; And a Mid Maryland Tri Club meeting!\u00a0 It&#8217;s nice to be able to get back to these meetings.\u00a0 Most of the year, I have choir rehearsals on Monday nights, so for the summers, it&#8217;s good to be at MMTC meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday: Brick &#8211; 75 minutes on the trainer and a 1 mile run.\u00a0 This kind of kicked my ass.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday: Missed swim &#8211; This was 50% the weather&#8217;s fault and 50% my own fault for overdoing it on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday: Team Fight swim &#8211; Long drills.\u00a0 Long, long drills.\u00a0 A 500 fast has no real meaning in my head.<\/p>\n<p>Friday: Rest day, plus a call with my new coach!\u00a0 Plan starting after my tri!<\/p>\n<p>Saturday: 7 Mile Run &#8211; I really should have gotten up earlier for this one, as I was dragging by the end.\u00a0 Too hot.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday: 18 mile group ride &#8211; This was awesome!\u00a0 I managed to find a good spot in the pack and felt myself pushing the whole time.\u00a0 It was exhausting, but I really felt like I got in a good workout.<\/p>\n<p>So there you have it and there you are.\u00a0 Another week down.\u00a0 Next weekly update will involve a triathlon.\u00a0 Yipes!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I liked last week&#8217;s workout review so much I&#8217;m going to do it again.
