{"id":3026,"date":"2014-09-17T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-09-17T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=3026"},"modified":"2014-09-17T08:11:03","modified_gmt":"2014-09-17T12:11:03","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/17\/wednesday-workout-recap-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week was not a good week, workout wise.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Rest Day.\u00a0 I rocked this one.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; I was scheduled for 5 miles.\u00a0 My calves were really tight and they just wouldn&#8217;t loosen up.\u00a0 After two miles, I gave up and spent about half an hour stretching and rolling.\u00a0 Better to lose some training and prevent injury, right?<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; Bike trainer workout.\u00a0 Pushed this one, and it felt great.\u00a0 I still have a long way to go on the bike, and I love it.\u00a0 There&#8217;s so much room for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; I was at the Flight 93 Memorial for a large chunk of the day, and by the time I got home, I was exhausted, physically and mentally, and collapsed into bed well before swim practice even started.<\/p>\n<p>Friday\/Saturday &#8211; Scheduled rest days.\u00a0 I felt a little guilty about this, having not worked out since Wednesday, but figured I would try to really push Sunday&#8217;s race.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; Revenge of the Penguins 10 Miler.<\/p>\n<p>Not the best in terms of workouts.\u00a0 I&#8217;m doing what I can to stick to this week and next so that I&#8217;m fully ready for my last triathlon of the season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week was not a good week, workout wise.
