I think I may have been social media-ed out after this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, life just got insane.\u00a0 Lots of extra stuff going on at work, trying to squeeze in training where I could.\u00a0 It was busy.\u00a0 I&#8217;m hoping for a nice, relaxing weekend.\u00a0 With some nice, easy training.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not complaining &#8211; it&#8217;s been an awesome week.\u00a0 Lots of problem solving at the office (problems not of my making, so I come out of the situation looking gooooood).\u00a0 But it&#8217;s all exhausting.<\/p>\n<p>I actually do have a bigger blog post brewing after Coach had to talk me off the ledge last week.\u00a0 But that&#8217;s going to take some time to get written up.\u00a0 Maybe after I actually get some sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Part of my plan last night was to sleep.\u00a0 Around 3:00, I just wanted to put my head down at my desk and nap.\u00a0 Sadly, not an option, plus I&#8217;d probably end up talking in my sleep and telling my coworkers my deepest, darkest secrets.\u00a0 But I had swim practice.\u00a0 I wasn&#8217;t going to go.\u00a0 Then I was.\u00a0 Then I wasn&#8217;t. But then I realized that I needed to go.\u00a0 I have a triathlon in less than a month.\u00a0 I also needed the workout.\u00a0 I joked that I might just grab a raft and float down the lanes, but I knew I needed to show up.<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m glad I did.\u00a0 Thankfully, it wasn&#8217;t a sprint workout, so it was lots of long, easy distance.\u00a0 That&#8217;s great practice and good for a body and brain that are a little worn out.\u00a0 So I just need to remember this feeling.\u00a0 Sure, sleep would have felt good, but showing up felt even better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I sort of fell off the face of the earth after Monday&#8217;s race recap.
