{"id":3607,"date":"2015-05-27T09:00:52","date_gmt":"2015-05-27T13:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=3607"},"modified":"2015-05-27T08:08:56","modified_gmt":"2015-05-27T12:08:56","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/27\/wednesday-workout-recap-22\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week could have been better.\u00a0 I have a race coming up!<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Missed my swim.\u00a0 My own fault.\u00a0 No excuses.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Brick: Bike trainer workout followed by a fairly slow one mile run.\u00a0 I was supposed to do speedwork today, but a mile and a half in, I realized it wasn&#8217;t happening, so I switched over to the brick.\u00a0 So I guess I got in a slightly longer run.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; Speedwork.\u00a0 800m intervals.\u00a0 UGH.\u00a0 I hate these.\u00a0 But they are good for me, so I do them.\u00a0 Total of 8 miles.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Team Swim.\u00a0 Nice long drills.\u00a0 I really enjoy this workout, but if I didn&#8217;t have team swim to come to, I probably would be missing a lot of my Thursday workouts.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; REST.\u00a0 Ahhhhh.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; 10 mile run.\u00a0 Didn&#8217;t feel great and I just kept getting slower.\u00a0 Then around mile 9, I realized that I hadn&#8217;t fueled at all during the run.\u00a0 No wonder I was dragging.\u00a0 I&#8217;m a genius.\u00a0 Still did the ten.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; Group ride on the Old Iron Girl course.\u00a0 I love this ride.\u00a0 So well supported and a good challenging course.\u00a0 17 miles in 1:21.\u00a0 At least something went well this week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week could have been better.\u00a0 I have a race coming up!
