I did a 20 minute yoga video to try to stretch a bit better.\u00a0 I think it helped.\u00a0 I&#8217;m clearly not very flexible.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Treadmill hills.\u00a0 6 half mile repeats on an 8% incline.\u00a0 Hills kick my ass, so it&#8217;s rare that I make it through this workout.\u00a0 But I was determined to push through, so I dropped my speed significantly and just powered through.\u00a0 And I made it!\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t fast, but I got it done and that&#8217;s what counts.\u00a0 Now to never find a race with 3 miles of 8% incline.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; Brick workout.\u00a0 Hour on the trainer followed by a one mile run.\u00a0 Easy peasy.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Team Fight Swim.\u00a0 I&#8217;m really working on my bilateral breathing.\u00a0 Still not great at it, but I&#8217;m getting there.\u00a0 I think added flexibility will help.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Rest Day<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/07\/well-at-least-i-tried-to-run\/\">The best laid plans<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; 21 mile bike ride.\u00a0 My plan called for 100 minutes, so I did the Princeton Sports ride with some distance tacked on with Kristin.\u00a0 Did 21 miles in 1:43.\u00a0 I was clearly not flying through this ride, but there were some decent hills, so I&#8217;m pleased with the workout.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last big push before race week!
