{"id":4007,"date":"2015-11-13T09:00:27","date_gmt":"2015-11-13T14:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=4007"},"modified":"2015-11-13T08:35:47","modified_gmt":"2015-11-13T13:35:47","slug":"weekly-workout-recap-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2015\/11\/13\/weekly-workout-recap-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nope, it&#8217;s not Wednesday, though with a mid-week holiday, my body has no idea what day it is.\u00a0 Either way, here&#8217;s last week&#8217;s workout recap.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Glorious, glorious rest day<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Did a high RPM trainer workout.\u00a0 I struggle with getting my RPM up high enough, but I&#8217;m definitely improving.\u00a0 I&#8217;m also definitely feeling it.\u00a0 Also did my strength workout today.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; This was supposed to be a hill workout and I failed miserably.\u00a0 I kept getting interrupted (phone, doorbell, cat vomit) and I let it throw off my groove.\u00a0 Gave up about 2\/3rds of the way in and ate dinner and went to bed.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Team Fight Swim.\u00a0 Finally a good workout.\u00a0 Lots of long drills.\u00a0 Still working on my form and I made a slight tweak to my hands and fingers that might be helping.\u00a0 At least my shoulders seem to think that I&#8217;m pulling harder.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; Nice hard trainer ride.\u00a0 Exactly the opposite of Tuesday &#8211; low RPM grinding.\u00a0 No wonder my legs are dead.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; 9 mile run.\u00a0 My &#8220;easy&#8221; pace is slowly increasing, which is an awesome feeling, but I&#8217;m still slow as molasses.\u00a0 But at least it&#8217;s warm molasses and not frozen molasses.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; 2 hour trainer ride.\u00a0 Various intervals in there, thanks to my coach, but I ended up with about 27 miles, which for a trainer ride for me, isn&#8217;t too bad.\u00a0 I&#8217;m loving my tri bike more and more each ride.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nope, it&#8217;s not Wednesday, though with a mid-week holiday, my body has no idea what day it is.\u00a0 Either way, here&#8217;s last week&#8217;s workout recap.
