{"id":5076,"date":"2017-05-24T09:30:47","date_gmt":"2017-05-24T13:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=5076"},"modified":"2017-05-24T09:04:07","modified_gmt":"2017-05-24T13:04:07","slug":"wednesday-workout-recap-93","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/24\/wednesday-workout-recap-93\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_3584\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3584\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3584 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pixabay\/a\/clock_1431614084-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pixabay\/a\/clock_1431614084-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pixabay\/a\/clock_1431614084-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pixabay\/a\/clock_1431614084.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3584\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><a href=\"http:\/\/pixabay.com\/users\/geralt\/\">geralt<\/a> \/ Pixabay<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As I mentioned on Monday, this was a really great week workout wise. \u00a0That doesn&#8217;t mean that all the workouts felt great, but I got them done.<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Rest Day. \u00a0I&#8217;m really good at these. \u00a0I wish I could get more done on rest days though.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Team Fight Swim. \u00a0I really enjoy being part of a group swim. \u00a0I feel like I push myself harder than I do in a solo workout &#8211; especially when I&#8217;m the slowest swimmer there. \u00a0We&#8217;ve got some beasts in the pool!<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; 60 minutes on the bike trainer<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; 4 mile run. \u00a0This one was more sluggish than I like.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; 45 minutes in the pool. \u00a0This one was a struggle. \u00a0I&#8217;m not sure if I was just tired (6am swims are early!) or worn out, but I had to force myself to not bail early. \u00a0I showed up, I might as well get the workout in.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; 25 mile bike followed by a 1 mile run. \u00a0I rode the Columbia Tri course for the first time this year and it was awesome. \u00a0I really love that course, even though I&#8217;ve never done the Columbia Tri. \u00a0It&#8217;s got some quality hills and is just a beautiful route. \u00a0It apparently got repaved recently as well, which made it even better than I remembered.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; 8 mile run. \u00a0Apparently, after riding all those hills, my legs were wholly uninterested in an 8 mile run, and I think it took about 6 miles to actually warm up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I mentioned on Monday, this was a really great week workout wise. \u00a0That doesn&#8217;t mean that all the workouts felt great, but I got them done.
