{"id":5117,"date":"2017-06-22T09:00:50","date_gmt":"2017-06-22T13:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=5117"},"modified":"2017-06-22T08:43:58","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T12:43:58","slug":"thursday-workout-recap-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2017\/06\/22\/thursday-workout-recap-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Thursday Workout Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because I missed posting it yesterday. \u00a0Whoops \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Rest Day. \u00a0So good at these.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Two mile run, followed by Team Fight swim. \u00a0These are supposed to be in the other order, but there&#8217;s nowhere for me to run after swim, plus it&#8217;s 9:00 at night and I just want to go home and sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; FTP test. \u00a0I was DREADING this. \u00a0And it went really well. \u00a0Or really terribly, depending on how you view it. \u00a0I went up by 11 watts. \u00a0That&#8217;s awesome! \u00a0Except it now means that all my FTP based workouts are going to get that much harder. \u00a0So, improvement is good, but&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; 5 mile run on the schedule, but I was burnt out. \u00a0Did about 3.5 and stopped.<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; 2000m nonstop swim. \u00a0I probably should have pushed for a bit more speed here. \u00a0But I got the distance in.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday &#8211; 8 mile run in the soupy air. \u00a0It was only in the 70&#8217;s when I started, so I hoped that the run wouldn&#8217;t be too bad. \u00a0Nope, I forgot about the 94% humidity.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday &#8211; I had been sneezing much of Saturday (allergies) and that plus the humidity meant that I just couldn&#8217;t face an outdoor bike ride. \u00a0So I pushed myself on the trainer for 2.5 hours. \u00a0Outside would have been better, but I got in the time, so I&#8217;m not going to beat myself up about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Because I missed posting it yesterday. \u00a0Whoops \ud83d\ude42 Monday &#8211; Rest Day. \u00a0So good at these.
