{"id":971,"date":"2012-11-22T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-11-22T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/?p=971"},"modified":"2012-11-20T11:41:55","modified_gmt":"2012-11-20T16:41:55","slug":"thankful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbowglitter.com\/blog\/2012\/11\/22\/thankful\/","title":{"rendered":"Thankful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Thanksgiving, Americans! \u00a0And happy Thursday, everyone else!<\/p>\n<p>I am very blessed. \u00a0There is so much in my life that I am thankful for. \u00a0Here are just a few of those things.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Family<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have an awesome family. \u00a0My parents have supported me no matter what crazy plan I decide to undertake, be it moving halfway across the country or running marathons. \u00a0My sister is always there to ramble to and is willing to run marathons with me, though she once said distance running was crazy. \u00a0And my brother and sister-in-law put up with all of this and still think to invite me to stay with them when a hurricane hits. \u00a0I wish we all lived closer, but I&#8217;m still lucky to have them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Friends<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am lucky enough to have friends all over the world, friends who have been in my life since grade school, friends who I have met in the past year, and friends from all the years in between. \u00a0I have such an amazing and diverse bunch of friends, and I am thankful for every single one of them. \u00a0This includes you all too!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>My Health<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A few years ago, I was facing some scary potential diagnoses, but with making major changes and eliminating a lot of the stress in my life, I&#8217;m healthier than I&#8217;ve been in years. \u00a0Happier too. \u00a0I am lucky that my body lets me do all of these things that I put it through.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t talk about my job here because well, it&#8217;s not all that exciting. \u00a0But I am lucky to have a job that I enjoy, with coworkers who respect me, and a paycheck that allows me to keep up with my ridiculous hobbies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And so many other things&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What are you thankful for?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Thanksgiving, Americans! \u00a0And happy Thursday, everyone else!
