Last week was very hit or miss for workouts.
Monday – Rest Day
Tuesday – 1600m Swim. Should have been 2000, but I was running late. Better than nothing.
Wednesday – Missed workout. I’m not sure what happened here. I think I got trapped at work significantly late. Should have still done something.
Thursday – Skipped swim, did Wednesday’s trainer ride instead. Didn’t want to be exhausted for Sunday’s tri.
Friday – Rest day.
Saturday – Pre-race rest day
Sunday – RACE DAY!
In my brain, the excuse for the lack of workouts was that it was a taper week, but I should have done more than I did. This week is my first week on my new coach created schedule. Here’s hoping I manage to stick to it better. Otherwise, Coach will shame me!
