Taper week workout recaps are so very boring.

Monday – Rest Day.

Tuesday – Easy 3 mile run with pickups.  This was way harder than it should have been.

Wednesday – Easy 45 minute bike.

Thursday – I was supposed to go to swim and take it easy, but I was so tired that I just went home and slept.  I think this is a sign I’m perhaps overtrained.

Friday – Rest

Saturday – 10 minute run, 10 minute bike.

Sunday – Race day!

Coach agrees that I might need some added rest.  Race day turned out okay, but I’ve just been pretty worn down lately.  I need to be better about prioritizing sleep.  But it’s hard to make that choice over training.
