I’m always careful to not reveal any new info on April Fools’ Day. So many hilarious blog posts out there. And though she doesn’t seem to do it anymore, I still have fond memories of Carrie’s April Fools’ posts, particularly one about a Got Milk tattoo while she was still breastfeeding her son.
Need a laugh? Check out how to make your photos more +Hoffsome.
And there are some hilarious race-related posts out there for the holiday. Though I have to admit, I’m disappointed in just how many people believed them. Sorry, folks, Harrison Ford is not going to come run a race with you, no matter how much you want him to.
In general though, I’m not the biggest fan of April Fools’ Day. I’ve never enjoyed humor at another person’s expense. I don’t like when radio stations do prank phone calls (the local morning show’s habit of catching cheaters is awesome, however). I don’t like practical jokes where one person looks embarrassed while others laugh. I don’t like shows like Punk’d.
Maybe I’m just an old fuddy duddy, but when I see things like that, I always feel embarrassed for the pranked person. It’s just not funny.
But check out the internet today. The new Mr. Beard machine looks cool. Or how about the HTC Gluuv?
I hate the April Fool’s Joke thing too – glad I’m not the only one. I also feel like those radio cheaty things are fake right? I dunno, but I’m totally with you on the April Fool’s thing!
