I did it! I completed an entire week’s worth of workouts! Good job, self!
Monday – Rest Day (choir rehearsal)
Tuesday – Speed workout – 7 miles with 4 miles of tempo running. 1:33 total time.
Wednesday – Rest day.
Thursday – Easy three. This was sluggish. 41 minutes.
Friday – 5 miles in 1:07.
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – 10 miles in 2:26.
I’m clearly no speed demon here, and I’ve managed to lose even more speed, but right now, I’m not worrying about that. It’s about getting in the workouts. If I just commit to the time on my feet, the rest will come. Or not. Either way, it feels good to not have missed workouts this week.
