I am back from an AMAZING vacation and still recovering, going through a myriad of photos, and working on a super long trip recap, mostly for me, but I’m going to share it with you as well.
But while I’m working on that, I thought I would bring you some links I’ve saved over the past few months.ย I always intend to post these monthly, then never do. So as you can see, some of these are much older than others.

Useful Things
That “blogging is dying” post is pretty interesting. I used to follow a lot of running/triathlon blogs, but I’ve noticed that the people I followed had babies and then suddenly decided to live a more private life.
However, I don’t necessarily think all of blogging is dying — I feel like so many people are trying to be “influencers” and create lifestyle/travel/fashion blogs now. Personal branding is way more important than it was before. I feel a little left behind in some ways, but at the same time, I like that my little blog isn’t commercial.
Thanks so much for the shout out!! Looks like I have some reading to do ๐

So much good reading. Can’t wait to hear about your travel adventures, but I’ve got some stuff to tide me over until then. ๐
Hope you had a great vacation. I’ll definitely bookmark this Beautiful list and come back to it from time to time.
PS. Thanks for the mention, Megan.
I agree with you that not all blogging is dying, though a lot of it is going in a different direction. While it would be amazing to have a super popular blog, I don’t want to sell out. I want this blog to be something I want to do, and it makes me happy.
This article is really god. Thank you for sharing your personal experience on vocation trip.
