I think I may have gone overboard shopping for my friends running MCM. And this photo doesn’t have the beer or oranges. I hope there aren’t too many leftovers.
Today, I went and got a 2 hour sports massage. I know I’m headed for pain when my massage therapist starts talking sports, and that definitely happened today. Good lord, that was painful. But I can definitely feel the difference. I need to be better about stretching and foam rolling after every workout. I think all the time spent in the car after these past two races really worked against me. So that’s the lesson kids. Stretch and foam roll.
And eat cupcakes at mile 21. I hear that’s the key to a marathon.
