Well, August was a decent month, but I have some big work to do.

The Good:

  • I finished Iron Girl Columbia!  And I didn’t get eaten by sharks!
  • I destroyed my goal finishing time.  Hooray!
  • I ran 29 miles this month, an improvement over July

The Bad:

  • 29 miles is not very far.
  • My weight loss has stalled and is starting to go in reverse

The Ugly:

  • I’m up almost ten pounds since before Christmas.  Something’s gotta give
  • I started September injured.

So the next steps are pretty clear.  Back to serious calorie counting and food balancing.  And now that the triathlon is over, I’m back to making running my main focus, though I plan to still swim and bike once a week (as time permits).

Of course, both of these plans will likely be waylaid by my long-planned cruise that is finally almost here!
